Hi, Ronald:
I can't think of any reason why your PSR wouldn't respond to Channel 10 as a drum channel through Notation Software. I have Yamaha, Casio and Roland instruments that use Channel 10 and it all seems to be pretty automatic. I had a quick glance at the PSR 8000 manual and I can't see anything at all peculiar about its GM/XG implementation. So, it SHOULD response to Channel 10 as a drum instrument. I just did a quick check with my XG instrument (Yamaha DGX 500) and it responded on channel 10 as a drum instrument with all possible combinations of bank/drum instrument settings in Notation Composer. Can you save one of the files you've been having trouble with as a .not file and post it? I'll see what it does on my system. I ask for it as a .not file in order to see how it's set up in Notation Software format. Thanks. David |
